Premium Processing Service Form I-907 Explained

What is Premium Processing Service? What is Form I-907? When does this form apply?
Employers can use the Premium Processing Service to expedite processing for certain employment based petitions. That means that when your employer has filed either a Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker (Form I-129) or Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker (Form I-140), they can also file a I-907 Request for Premium Process Service to expedite the process. One thing to note is that the applicant (or employee) himself can file the expedite request as well. H1B visas have also been added to the expedite list.
The cost of filing a Form I-907 or Premium Process Service is $1,225.00.
How many days must you wait?
USCIS (or US Immigration) guarantees that within 15 days they will take action and issue either an approval notice, a notice of intent to deny or a request for evidence. If USCIS fails to do so, they will refund the fee back to the applicant. Another great perk of doing the Premium Service is that you will have a dedicated phone number to call and check the status of your case.
